Hannah Ruth: It Comes in Waves

Hannah Ruth is a Bloomfield artist who uses her art as a means to process grief. As a colorist and stylist Hanna has a deep and fluid relationship with color, for Hannah experimenting with different palettes becomes a meditative act. Hannah understands the impact color has on one’s mood and sense of self. It Comes in Waves is a collection that reveals how mixing shades and working with unexpected pigments allows her to express a range of emotions from—anger to ambiguity—in regards to loss.
